A NYS statute enacted in April, 2018 requires employers to provide sexual harassment prevention training to all employees on an annual basis beginning October 9 of this year.  The training has to conform to DOL issued standards but they haven’t been provided yet!  A proposed version is in place but not a final one.

Hey, DOL, once you tell us what the training has to include, we’ll still have to devise it, find presenters, schedule employee time for it, and more.  That will eat up some part of the 12 months we have to get this done.

Could we please be given the straw to make these bricks?!
