Reese is a shareholder at Mitchell & Sheahan, P.C., where he handles employment matters from start to finish, including private and municipal employment issues. He has experience with various claims and issues, such as the Americans With Disabilities Act, Title VII, other civil rights violations, and the National Labor Relations Act, in both the Federal and Connecticut court systems.

Reese is a Tulane University Law School graduate who participated in the Tulane Juvenile Law Clinic. Before that, he earned a Bachelor of Science in Logistics and Intermodal Transportation and a US Coast Guard-issued Unlimited Third Mate’s License from the United States Merchant Marine Academy at Kings Point. Additionally, Reese holds a Master of Science in International Transportation Management from SUNY Maritime College.

Before becoming an attorney, Reese served as a civilian deck officer aboard US Navy-owned ships worldwide under his Third Mate’s license.

Reese is certified in Admiralty Law from Tulane University and earned a US Coast Guard-issued Unlimited Second Mate’s All Oceans License while at sea. He practices before the Connecticut and New Jersey State Courts and the U.S. District Court for the District of Connecticut. Reese is active in the Greater Bridgeport Bar Association, where he is the current Labor and Employment Section Chair, and serves as a Stratford Library Board of Trustees member. Reese was also recognized as a Super Lawyer Rising Star in 2023.
